Imagine yourself at this concert... which by the way, I saw these guys live a few times, once in particular about 10 years ago and I got in a wrestling match with a 350 pound dude over a drum stick that was thrown into the crowd.... I won.

Anyhow, this is another special edition photo with an accompanying "strobist info video" since it was so well received last time. It is truly a challenge jamming in all that info into 90 seconds when there is so much to talk about!

So this leaves everyone here with only one thing left to do — check out the setup, camera, & strobist info video. Cheers

Just staying on the heals of Dave's raindrops, had another fantastic night watching the strobist DVD, but you know what Wednesday is for ;) You guessed it. Happy Bokeh Wednesday. Again, extremely apologize for not catching everyones streams. I'll do a major catchup this weekend. Ciao

first shot of the morning right off the bus. I've walked by this hundreds of times (even with a camera), but this was the first time I believe I shot it.

Having lived in the Bay Area for nearly four years now, I finally managed to get out and take some pictures of the city during the evening hours.
This one was shot near the Embarcadero at Pier 1 showing the famous Bay Bridge, which I think is actually a lot prettier than the Golden Gate Bridge... but whatever. I'll soon make my way down that way too.
24-70@24mm f/4.5 25s ISO200.
I would have shot at a smaller aperture, but f/4.5 was able to get me just under 30 seconds before using the bulb setting (I forgot my remote).

Belize: Where the weather is always this awesome and the sunsets are beautiful. This photo was taken handheld (setting up a tripod would have been a mosquito nightmare) near the sunset hour (close to 6pm). The secret to this one was the circular polarizer tilted slightly left and setting WB ~ 5K. The kids were kind enough to let me take pictures of them while they practiced on their body board.
