Every day it seems like I'm bone dry and fresh out of ideas... this one walks that line. Afterall; me, sitting, on a bench... lights, tilt, bokeh... yeah, I don't care — my mind hurts after writing code for most of the day (and evening).

In the end, this shot still came out well. Didn't get hassled by any "Crazy Mikes" — but instead a guy with much enthusiastic interest in what I was doing. Talking photography is usually more fun when I'm not half falling asleep and wanting to be done... so in this case it was more annoying. Explaining how pocket wizards work is not something you want to be doing while an umbrella can go down at any minute.

Anyway, enough of me complaining (I'm falling asleep).

167/365. Cat Lady, the Band — Become a groupie

A day late in posting this — it was a great birthday. I was quite impressed with Spork last night. It's not common to have a restaurant make a custom menu for your birthday. It may have been the highest form of V.I.P I've ever had at any business.

Anyhow, this shot was taken immediately after closing time and happened all within a few minutes (it's all a blur now). Braden helped put together the lights, Ario held another. I dialed in the power settings, then Erin orchestrated the rest. I still barely remember this even happening — but it was great!

So today I got crap from all my coworkers that I forgot to post yesterday's photo yesterday. And for the record, none of them are doing a 365, so screw you guys! I mean what are friends for, right? They give you crap for the things in life that don't really matter... and they still remain your friends.

ANYWAY, so this is the shot I took. Take it or leave it.

Oh, and I apologize for not visiting photo streams lately. It's been crazy at Gmail more so than usual.

Today was our first time out of the home with the strobe gear. This shot was taken in an empty lot near 24th & Valencia (you'll see exactly where this is the map).

This sign was found on 24th & Valencia in front of a giant church. It's where my Bus picks me up, and drops me off — every day. It must, however, be new — because I haven't seen it around before.
