351/365. Fresh scents — can unexpectedly appear
This time of year, everything is a blur. Oh will I ever look forward to January 1st.

344/365. Suicide — this is my subtitlte that links to a larger version
Ok. Everyone in the world knows how to create shots like these. So I'm purposefully disabling comments (yeah yeah, "nice bokeh" bla bla). You want to see some who is actually talented at this? Everyone, see Roger Lim. Hands down, best out-of-focus photographer. See you tomorrow.

302/365. Resting. In Peace. — Come relax
So you thought I had left. Wrong. I was just resting. And awaiting that big, beatiful, Mama. Yep. 50 inches of big, gimassive light.
Yeah. It arrived this afternoon.
Yeah.
I was able to rush out to the Bay by 6:30 and managed to put together this shot in roughly 5 minutes before all hope was lost and my pink sky vanished.
Anyhow, be sure to check out the info on this shot - it makes me laugh everytime I look at it because the softbox is bigger than me!

295/365. Formidably Tireless — and still kinda sane ( << relaly, best viewed large )
I'm nearing three hundred days of this stuff... it's.... getting tiring.... but pictures still come about.
Good news, FlashBullet has landed a wedding at the Orava Castle in Slovakia next year! How awesome is that.
Other than that... it's time to sack.

260/365. I should have made you leave your key — If I'd have known... you'd be back to bother me
It's the night before I leave for two weeks to Europe... (Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, London). Got a flight in a few hours.... must pack.
Bye.

246/365. King without a crown ~ Matisyahu — free your beatboxing soul
This is Matisyahu. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't.
He is one of the few people I've seen live that can beatbox as well as I can... had only there been an extra mic, we could have jammed.

239/365. Emptiness — or just staring at a blank wall
Don't be fooled by the empty expression, I was just trying out some moods and as you'll find out later on in the strobist info, I had a smile on my face.
Anyhow, on the news front, FlashBullet (our joint husband/wife Photography biz) has just confirmed a wedding in Australia, another in Pebble Beach California, as well as a Bride Model shoot this weekend in San Francisco.
For the strobaholic anonymous group... continue the medicine...

232/365. Back in time — to the future, right?
For some reason after staring at this photo for longer than necessary, the phrase "back in time" called out to me. It must be the Nike shoes and that look of a quick neal knowing I'm about to jump scat away quickly.
Surprisingly, nobody said a word during the whole shoot despite it being a crowded night. But I twote too soon and came across a man...
man: "Hey, I have one of those lenses that goes on cameras..." *twists his hands as if mounting a lens* "... You wouldn't be interested in buying it? Would you?"
me: "I have all the lenses I need. Thank you."
man: "Oh, that's cool. Would you happen to have 50 cents?"
me: "I don't carry money with me"
And for those that wonder, I don't go looking for these conversations — they find you. And you might have wondered why I always wear these glasses — it's to avoid talking to strangers, not an attempt to be Corey Hart ;)
the fanatics of light... move along...
