Shot 10 minutes after sunset on the island town of San Pedro. I was out on a dock and set it on the ground (no tripod). Plus the dock was the only place to get away from mosquitos.
24-70@24mm f/4 8seconds @ ISO 500 (for added dynamic range) + circular polarizer. vignetting and border added in Photoshop.

Explorer'd!
One of my best photos to date. This is *not* an HDR image. The only downside to it, however, is that I left on auto-ISO (which I normally live by), and it bumped it up to 1600, which was unnecessary considering I had it on a tripod.
Nevertheless, I was in a great spot in the freezing cold of Vancouver well past midnight.
