It's Santa Mow! Yesterday was our 1 year anniversary for Erin and I. The camera never really came out. So here's another one from the archives.

This was our Christmas card from 2008 — it's our cat, Meow meow meow... in a Santa outfit. She ignored us for a good 3 hours after that.

And some of you thought I missed this weekend. Albeit some of it being a blur, I still managed to capture photos each night.

150/365. Meow meow meow

Everyone, if you haven't met her already, this is Meow meow meow. (That's really her name). I had adopted her after as one of my (only) own after I met Erin. She is 84 years old according to this human to cat years calculator. It was only appropriate that she gets a special day like 150 (seemed like a good round number).

But of course, even if you're not into the strobist stuff... it's worth watching the setup for this one.

Also, a couple other things I want to mention. I noticed some folks have been requesting the 'ol black and white diagrams for the setup info since they are easier to study. I agree. But this is FREE information. Free as in beer. Other folks have requested that I remove the qutoed text on each picture. No. I'll keep doing whatever I think feels right.

My thoughts exactly. G'nite.

Another one from the batch. This is Erin with the lovely Meowx3 (meow meow meow). This cat, since she is black, is nearly impossible to get good shots of... because of her fur black. This, IMO, works really well because she's just slightly lit in a completely blown out background. It gives her more of that panther feel.

And of course Erin, looks good as always.

Tried doing a product photo shoot of Erin's Canon gear that she's selling, but the cat felt that she deserved more attention. I had to spend a few minutes petting her, but eventually I was able to continue the shoot.

When she clearly knows I'm taking her picture.
