Today I thought I'd throw together a "special edition" strobist info shoot seeing as how Erin let me borrow the 5D2 again — I figured I would take advantage of its video-taking capabilities. And lucky for you, Flickr limits videos to just 90 seconds (otherwise I would ramble on forever).
Other than that, it was a long work day (from home). I didn't come in to work because of a strained achilles... my guess is that I'm not used to walking (to work) so much. By the end of the day, however, I felt I simply had to get out of the house to snap a quick shot around the corner.

If you've taken one stroll through The Mission, you'd know that they sell a plethora of these kind of masks everywhere. So I bought one.
Before Erin and I went out to take this shot, I had the whole thing mapped in my head whether or not it would work (artistically speaking). I think it did just fine.
Regarding technicalities, this was a "self portrait" — but with much aid of Erin setting up the gear, warding off strangers, and guarding the stubby placed across the street (yes, it was on the South side of the street while I was on the North).
