I know, that was a massive quote for today's 365 photo, but deal with it! On a more important note, I finally decided to lift my camera up from the ground... and it was rather pleasant. And on another note, it's Thirsty Thursday! So right after I post this photo, I'm gonna have a few sips of Allagash, then head home (on a bus, of course).

Also, I'm horribly sorry I haven't visited many of your streams too much lately. I've been quite busy with work, life, and strobe experimenting. I promise I'll eventually get to everyone soon enough. See you tomorrow (or possibly tonight). Cheers

Everyone, this is Cooper. Another dog that trouts around our office. He often plays with Sparky, so I figured one day or another, eventually he would find his way into my 365. And thus this conludes day twenty one. Happy Bokeh Wednesday everyone.

19/365. He's only nineteen, burnt out on this scene, yeah he's just getting by... on the memories ~ Less Than Jake.

Today is the day where we celebrate diversity, ethnicity, and culture because of what Dr. Martin Luther King did for human civilization. My previous photo in my stream is dedicated to that.

Other than that, the day has gone by nice and relaxing. It was a beautiful day in the sunny Mission District of San Francisco. I had a nice walk over to El Metate for a taco plate and coke. Happy Holidays everyone, see you tomorrow.

17/365. It sucks to be... under twenty one ~ Save Ferris.

Tonight Erin and I did a photoshoot for a going away party for a coworker of mine at Google (not shown in photo). Those photos are being sent to her privately, however I caught this one during the party while sitting near the entrance where the bouncer checks each and every person for ID. This is also an homage to Julius who is the king of candid BW photography, and whom I like to call "The Expressionographer." since candids are not only about catching a candid moment, but also expressions.

Nevertheless, I'm tired, and it's been a long day. I'm going to post and run, so I'll catch ya'lls photo streams tomorrow. G'nite.

Taking a small break from the usual 365's, here's some portraits using our new lighting rig.

Technically speaking, Erin *was* in this picture all of but 2 seconds before the shutter went off. She leaned over to adjust something and I decided to go with this goofy face. You can see part of her elbow in the shot (near the logo watermark). In the end it turned out pretty fun.

This is part of a set of where we spent more time experimenting with our lighting rig. It's quite addicting and fun!

16/365. I yam what I yam ~ Popeye.
It wasn't too long ago that I just uploaded yesterdays, only because it's 1:55am and I'm technically on the sixteenth day. Basically what I'm trying to say is, our pocket wizard's came in, and we went to town on our new strobist setup in the living room. So here's an SP to kick off your Friday (and for some of you — Saturday)

15/365. Plastic cup politics ~ Less Than Jake.

We have a tradition every Thursday where we drink beer. It's called "Thirsty Thursday" which had originally started as Wine Wednesday. Our project managers are convinced that we're eventually just gonna go with "Alcohol Weekdays."

The two beers you see in the photo are made by Allagash, two of the best beers in the Universe. That funny lookin' guy in the photo is Dave. See ya'll tomorrow.

13/365. And things are automatic when you see them everyday ~ Less Than Jake.

Today I worked at the Google San Francisco office (no leafs in the city) which requires a little more of a walk, but definitely more opportunities.

The photo you see here was *not* set up, and for some reason it told a nice story for me. A few people walked by wondering why the heck I was shooting a spilled cup of iced cream. It was, nevertheless, worth it for day thirteen. SYT (see you tomorrow) and HBWE!

14/365. Best Wishes To Your Black Lung ~ Less Than Jake.

This was shot in Mountain View (again) immediately before Dave made fun of me for shooting flowers. We had a good laugh. For the record, it was dandelions, not flowers... but really, all the same stuff. The quote from Less Than Jake when one of their band members left the band to go become a Fire Fighter.
