340/365. Untitled — just a flower

I feel bad even posting this, because really, flowers are *really* not my thing and it hurts my soul a little.

What this means is I basically threw up my arms tonight and went for the table decorations.

I'm even too embarassed to post the setup photo deoting that I actually spent time on this. But for your own housekeeping records, I threw I SB-900 @ 1/64 @ 24mm into a 43" reflective umbrella, high camera right.

204/365. Don't be a flower — but you can still enjoy them.

A few things. Today was a crazy day at Twitter! We officially launched our new Twitter Search Widget! They are totally hot and sexy time. And thus now you know what has been causing my photos to get uploaded later and later this last couple weeks.

For those implementing it on their own website, I blogged about a few of the undocumented features, like for instance, the fullscreen view :)

On another topic, regarding the flower photo. As most folks here know... I'm one of those "I don't do flowers" kinda photographer.

Well, there's a backstory to this that relates to work and security... meaning that anyone who leaves their laptop unlocked and unattended is a potential candidate to get email sent from their email account to the rest of the office that says "I am a beautiful flower"

Thus, this is good advice: Don't be a flower.

Erin bought these beautiful flowers for Thanksgiving dinner. They're still doing well. Happy Bokeh Wednesday Everybody!
