295/365. Formidably Tireless — and still kinda sane ( << relaly, best viewed large )
I'm nearing three hundred days of this stuff... it's.... getting tiring.... but pictures still come about.
Good news, FlashBullet has landed a wedding at the Orava Castle in Slovakia next year! How awesome is that.
Other than that... it's time to sack.

239/365. Emptiness — or just staring at a blank wall
Don't be fooled by the empty expression, I was just trying out some moods and as you'll find out later on in the strobist info, I had a smile on my face.
Anyhow, on the news front, FlashBullet (our joint husband/wife Photography biz) has just confirmed a wedding in Australia, another in Pebble Beach California, as well as a Bride Model shoot this weekend in San Francisco.
For the strobaholic anonymous group... continue the medicine...

Today I thought I'd throw together a "special edition" strobist info shoot seeing as how Erin let me borrow the 5D2 again — I figured I would take advantage of its video-taking capabilities. And lucky for you, Flickr limits videos to just 90 seconds (otherwise I would ramble on forever).
Other than that, it was a long work day (from home). I didn't come in to work because of a strained achilles... my guess is that I'm not used to walking (to work) so much. By the end of the day, however, I felt I simply had to get out of the house to snap a quick shot around the corner.
So all you camera lighting setup nerds - this ones for you

53/365. Um, Peter, according to this, you're not a genius. In fact... you're mentally retarded. ~ Brian Griffin on Peter's test results (Family Guy)
Had a lazy Sunday. Picked up a Battery pack + 150w inverter for $54 at the Kragen's. Sure beats paying Profoto $1,000+ for any of their batteries!
On another note, I wrote another post on SLR Geek titled 5D mkii versus D700; Strobist Edition. Comments or questions are welcome on my blog.
Tonight's shot was done with a DIY grid spot made out of coroplast, super glue, and gaffers tape.

163/365. The ghost of strobist present
Well hello new 500 Flickrite contacts! I was once quite pleased with my daily flow of stats, but the Strobist interview kinda borked that. I must admit, however, the feedback has been very welcoming and positive. The Strobist community is very eager to learn. And so with that in mind, if you're just starting out — just as reminders, consume as much as you possibly can on strobist.com, perhaps attend a One Light Workshop from Zack, or even for the veterens, brush up on how you can pwn the inverse square law (a straight-and-to-the-point guide I wrote on flash photography mathematics).
Ok, so — Today's photo was a bit different. I wanted to incorporate slight camera and motion blur to give just a tad ghosting on the subject. (whoa, bit, slight, tad all in the same sentence).
A main reason I like this photo is because it depicts exactly how I'm feeling right now with the 365 — yet without going into details, I'll leave the photo up to your own interpretation.
And of course for most folks who skip past the hoopla and jump to the bottom to find the link; your time has come
