364/365. Ending Credits — meet Trammell
If you were waiting to hear some final words... well then pay attention because these are them.
First, this is the Internet's Mark Trammell. He was kind enough fill in for the 364th spot.
Other than that... So it seems that the time has finally come where I'm rolling the credits before the curtain closes on this long, painful, and educational project. Throughout the day I've had repeating lyrics in my head from Lose Yourself since I've never felt such an overwhelming pressure to produce something amazing for my final photo (tomorrow).
Regarding thanks.... well, there's Erin. And... yeah. Then of course there's about a hundred other people, but really; I'd just end up leaving people out.
Regading the project itself. I started this thing to learn, grow, and share. I honestly didn't think it would earn Mashable's Flickr Photographer of the Year, or be featured on the Flickr Blog, or even yet, land the most flattering Strobist Interview. It truly feels like I Forrest Gump'd my way through this.
Regarding all of you. This is important for you to know. I am not the greatest at this. I see things the way I see them — then I take pictures of them in light, angles, and colors that I see fitting. And then I shared them with you. Hopefully, removing some of the magic behind it by documenting them in a way that made most sense to me had I been picking up this thing for the first time. I can only hope it was useful for you. Plus it was free. As in beer.
Anyway, if you're interested in keeping up with what I'm doing outside of the photo world — I'm on Twitter as @ded.
Last but not least, here's some classic text info (old shule style).

363/365. City Morning — get out of bed
This is what my morning commute looks like. Had a weird hunch before I left for work... and thought to myself "I should bring my camera"
Anyway, this is the view from the Yerba Buena bridge looking north/east toward the bay.
Stay tuned... just two more days ;)

362/365. Woosh — and you're there
Consider this the final BART shot of the year. It was very kind to me getting me to nearly every location shoot in the city.
For this particular shot I "wooshed" down to Montgomery... and set 'er down for 4 seconds @ ƒ/16
Subsequently I returned home, then spent an hour in photoshop removing dust spots.
Perhaps in the new year I'll take my camera in for a cleaning and stop investing in crappy take-home lens cleaning solutions.
And that is that. See you tomorrow. 3 days left!

361/365. Every man dies — but not every man lives ~ William Ross
I haven't fully accepted that this photo project is going to end in just four days.
I wish I had more inspiring words right now.
I don't.
In other news, a book will hopefully shortfly follow in the new year with plentiful photo setup and documentary goodness.
Speaking of...

360/365. Leap of faith — can also get you wet
I took the train downtown to take this one shot. No lights. No fancy setup. I shot it. Went back home, then stared at it for 20 minutes on my screen.
I have no idea what it means... which means we could conclude that I'm clearly run dry of daily ideas.
I'm telling you, as soon as the new year hits, I'm sleeping for a week straight.

359/365. I am Santa — and I like apples
Except of course, not this one - because it's wrotten.
Hey, who said my ideas would start to make any sense by the end of the year?
Anyway, Merry Christmas folks. Don't waste your time here. Go play with some new toys ;)
Or of course, see the details...

356/365. The commute — join me on a walk
Yesterday I did a shoot for a friend in the evening, but realized I didn't request permission ahead of time to post any... so that's where that day went.
Anyway, I've had Sublime's Don't push on repeat for what seems like 5 days straight (It's even playing as I type this). Not entirely sure why.... but it's fun to quote it randomly.
In other news, 9 days left. Hell yes.
And if you're wondering what I'm going to do on the 365th day... I still haven't a clue... only in that I've been thinking about it every day since day 1.
Moving right along.... to the important stuff. This shot was a simple setup (all things considered).

354/365. Perchance to dream — Ay, there's the rub
Had a Christmas present shoot today which was a gift from Linda (shown in photo) to Stephen (the other half). This was shot in the Montgomery Mall center thingy place... outdoor... place... yeah. You'll also see Erin holding a lightstand in the setup shot too. 'Twas a great end to a long weekend.
11 more days!
... and of course, you lighting folks that made this such a great year... let's do this.
